Analysis Group Mourns the Passing of Vice President Anne LaRue

June 1, 2023

We are deeply saddened that Anne LaRue, a Vice President at Analysis Group, passed away in late 2022, following a brief illness.

Anne’s endearing personality and positivity brightened our lives. She was a valued friend and an exceptionally talented economist who was dedicated to her work and colleagues in a way that inspired us all. She began her career at Analysis Group in 2014 after receiving her M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Anne played an important leadership role in the Los Angeles office, with much of her work focused on evaluating liability and damages analyses in finance and intellectual property projects. She also had a strong interest in environment-related matters. Anne’s love of the work and unbridled enthusiasm was apparent on every project she worked on, whether engaging with clients and experts, recruiting talented individuals, or guiding and developing colleagues in their careers.

Anne maintained a diverse array of interests outside of work. She was a devoted reader and cultivated a lifelong love of literacy, something she credited her undergraduate alma mater, Wellesley College, with instilling. She mentored high school students on their writing and supported the work of Pageturner, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting literacy by providing young people with e-readers. Her passions also included British history, baseball, and the films of Fred Astaire.

Anne brought a tremendous warmth to all around her. She selflessly and patiently guided so many of us and was generous to everyone she encountered. We all miss her greatly.
