Why Analysis Group?

Our firm is large enough to work on high-profile cases, but small enough to allow you to contribute fully in engagements. We are structured enough to provide individualized mentoring and coaching, but flexible enough to give you exposure to many different practice areas.

Whether you join Analysis Group after college or after graduate school, you will benefit from our ongoing commitment to your career development, including:

  • Exposure to various practice areas to broaden your professional expertise
  • The opportunity to learn from expert colleagues and leading academic experts
  • The chance to work alongside leading attorneys, corporate executives, and specialists across industries
  • A range of training and professional development opportunities

Our distinctive, collaborative culture provides the underpinning for the success of our firm and our clients. We at AG believe that our diverse workforce supports our goal to provide the highest-quality work, and that equity and inclusion are necessary to unlock the power of that diversity. This drives our commitment to strong talent and business practices that provide equal opportunities to people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, races, colors, ethnicities, mental and physical abilities and characteristics, ages, socioeconomic statuses, and religions. To accomplish this, we are focused on ensuring that our practices are fair, transparent, culturally informed, and supportive of difference. We are proud to attract top talent from around the world, further enriching our employees’ variety of cultures, experiences, and views. AG also partners with organizations that specialize in recruiting, training, and coaching members of underrepresented groups, and our firm-wide Black@AG affinity group celebrates a culture of diversity and works to ensure the professional success of Black employees. Another firm-wide group, AG Pride, provides opportunities for LGBTQ staff to meet, hosts quarterly events for all employees to connect, and plays a role in recruiting. In support of AG’s culture of inclusion, AGWomen+ takes an intersectional approach to supporting women employees, and offers community-building events for members and allies.

We also strive to ensure that our employees maintain a healthy balance between work and life outside the office. Although hours may fluctuate from week to week (as is typical with consulting positions), travel requirements are minimal, which allows for a high degree of flexibility and contributes toward a positive work-life balance. We also sponsor sports teams and fun events for our employees, and offer benefits that include tuition and fitness reimbursement, backup child care, and elder care. In addition, we offer annual holiday and summer parties open to families and guests, as well as annual ski trips to resorts such as Stowe, Steamboat, Lake Placid, or Tahoe. We also encourage employees to design events for their peer groups.

We are proud of our culture and of how our professionals feel about their work environment. In 2021, Analysis Group received the Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association Fair Housing Hero Award in recognition of our housing discrimination research, which focused on discrimination against Boston-area renters who used Section 8 housing vouchers. Our research was widely covered in the media and published in the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy.

We have also been recognized as a best place to work in several top surveys, including national surveys by Glassdoor (Best Places to Work, Employees’ Choice Award, small and medium business category) and Vault (21st overall in the Vault Consulting 50).
