Vice President Marissa Ginn and Associate Johanna Posch will present an outline of an Analysis Group project, sponsored by the OECD, that examines how gender factors affect prices and consumer purchasing decisions in the context of market definition analysis for merger reviews and antitrust investigations. In their study, the Analysis Group research team, which also includes Managing Principal Lisa Pinheiro and Vice Presidents Jee-Yeon Lehmann and Anne-Catherine Faye, will explore how a “pink tax” may impact market definition in merger reviews. Study results will be submitted to the OECD in May 2021.
