Dr. Nie specializes in the application of economic theories and statistical methods in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). Her areas of expertise include measuring the burden of illness, assessing treatment patterns, evaluating the impacts of health care innovations on utilization and health outcomes, and comparing clinical and cost effectiveness among treatments. She has experience conducting analyses using real-world data (RWD) sources such as insurance claims and electronic health records, developing cost-effectiveness models, and supporting product launches.
